Course Coordinator
Status: Open
We are currently seeking a Course Coordinator in Hanover, MD (on-site, with some remote flexibility) to provide front-line, non-technical support for web-based and instructor-led training courses. The Course Coordinator will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering sophisticated, hands-on training solutions to meet the mission and time-critical needs of our customers.

Work Schedule
Courses run 0800-1700, Monday through Friday. Contract core hours are 1000-1400. A standard 40-hour workweek is expected, with occasional overtime during critical peaks and availability for last-minute overtime requests as business needs arise. Limited telework may be available.
Essential Responsibilities (describe the day-to-day)
- Assist students with administrative questions and issues, and serve as liaison between students, staff, and the customer.
- Proctor high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the student experience, including addressing student concerns, tracking and analyzing student progress, and maintaining course-related documentation.
- Create daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-course, and on-the-spot reports for the customer.
- Provide administrative support to students in independent, web-based cyber training, including feedback for developing and updating course content, exercises, exams, and resources.
- Roster students to new courses and set up required student access.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy of learning content and resolve student-specific issues.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands
General office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Excellent speaking, presentation, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
- Ability to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
- Proficiency with word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to create and edit required course reports (daily, weekly, monthly, end-of-course, readiness, progress, exam, and final reports).
- Ability to maintain detailed administrative records of student data.
Security Clearance Required
No clearance required to start, but must be eligible to obtain a clearance.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in education, English, Communications, a technical discipline, or a directly related field, plus two (2) years of relevant experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an additional four (4) years of work experience (six (6) years total) may be substituted.
Minimum Years of Experience
Two (2) years of experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation/delivery, and/or evaluation of training, or three (3) years of experience in an administrative support role.
Required Certifications
No certifications required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience working in the analysis, design, development, implementation/delivery, and/or evaluation of training OR 3 years of experience working in an administrative support role
- Experience with Confluence and Jira

Compensation Details
$85,000 – $135,000
