We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator (SA2) to provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. The Systems Administrator will manage IT system infrastructure and related processes, supporting day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution across client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices.

Work Schedule:
Standard business hours. No regular night, weekend, or holiday work is required for this position. No pager duty. No CONUS or OCONUS travel required.
Essential Responsibilities: (describe the day-to-day)
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide in-depth troubleshooting support for IT systems.
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved through the resolution process.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; install and load operating system software; troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components; implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Experience installing, loading, and troubleshooting operating system software and network components.
- Experience with system capacity analysis, planning, and performance optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across client, server, storage, and network environments.
Security Clearance Required:
Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional Systems Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum Years of Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
Required Certifications:
DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DevOps tooling, including Ansible.
- Experience with AWS, including Terraform.

Compensation Details:
$150,000 – $170,000
